Dr. Shuana Tucker-Sims is a dynamic and accomplished educator, visionary leader, and dedicated advocate for equity and diversity in education. As the Chief Talent Officer for the Connecticut State Department of Education, she oversees critical initiatives aimed at fostering excellence in education through the development of educators and promoting inclusivity. With a background spanning over 25 years in education and human resources, Shuana’s experience ranges from her early career at the U.S. Department of Education to her influential work in several Connecticut school districts and at the University of Connecticut.
